We are excited to announce that RevisX is now accepting submissions for our inaugural issue titled "Reproducibility Matters". We invite researchers from around the world to submit their original research articles, reviews, and commentaries in the fields of biomedical sciences, healthcare technology, and clinical research.

Our mission is to advance reproducible, rigorous, and translational biomedical and clinical research while addressing key challenges in modern scientific publishing.

RevisX welcomes work across the biomedical and clinical spectrum, with a unifying focus on methodological rigor and reproducibility. The inaugural issue especially encourages submissions that address how science is done — not just what was found.

Submission Types What You Can Submit Original Research Research Article Full empirical studies with original data, methodology, results, and discussion. Negative and null results are especially encouraged. Synthesis Systematic Review Rigorous, protocol-registered reviews with reproducible search strategies. Meta-analyses are welcome. PRISMA compliance required. Narrative Review Article Expert-authored overviews of a topic or field. Should identify gaps in current knowledge and propose future directions. Opinion Commentary Informed perspective pieces on current issues in biomedical research practice, policy, or reproducibility. Evidence-based arguments preferred.

Before You Submit Preparation Checklist

Manuscripts should be prepared according to the following guidelines to ensure a smooth editorial process.

Formatting

• Manuscripts in English, double-spaced, 12pt font
• Structured abstract (Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion) — max 300 words
• Author affiliations and ORCID iDs for all authors
• References formatted in APA style
• Figures at minimum 300 DPI, submitted separately

Ethics & Disclosure

• Ethical approval statement for all human or animal studies
• Conflicts of interest declared by all authors
• Funding sources acknowledged
• Data availability statement required
• AI tool use disclosed in the Methods section

Full author guidelines, including style guide, cover letter template, and supplementary file requirements, are available here. Manuscripts that do not meet minimum formatting requirements may be returned without review. We recommend all authors check editorial policies
